Orbit Slide Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Clear Moon (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use Orbit Slide (the “App”), application identifier ca.clearmoon.orbitslide on Android and iOS.

1. Information stored on your device

The App stores game progress and preferences locally on your device. This includes completed levels and best move counts, tutorials viewed, language selection, daily hint usage, and whether the Premium upgrade has been recognized. Clear Moon does not receive this locally stored information. Removing the App normally removes this local data, subject to your device backup settings.

2. Advertising and consent

The ad-supported version uses Google AdMob to provide interstitial and optional rewarded advertisements. Before requesting ads, the App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to determine whether a consent message is required and, where applicable, to record your choices.

Depending on your region, consent choices, and device settings, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:

• device and advertising identifiers;
• IP address and approximate location derived from it;
• ad views, interactions, and reward completion;
• device, app, performance, and diagnostic information.

This information is used to deliver, limit, measure, secure, and improve advertising. Where required, personalized advertising is not requested without consent. You can review or change available advertising choices at any time from Settings → Privacy choices in the App. You can also limit tracking or reset advertising permissions through your device settings.

3. Analytics

Firebase Analytics is disabled by default and operates only in a release explicitly built with analytics enabled. When enabled, it records limited gameplay and product events, such as a session or level starting, a level being completed, hint usage, ad format and outcome, purchase status, move count, level number, and elapsed time.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, free-form text, board states, or advertising identifiers in our custom analytics event parameters. Firebase may nevertheless process device, app, interaction, diagnostic, and general geographic information as described in its documentation. Analytics is used to understand reliability and aggregated gameplay patterns and to improve the App.

4. In-app purchases

The App offers a non-consumable Premium upgrade. Payments and purchase history are processed by Google through Google Play on Android and by Apple through the App Store on iOS. We do not receive your full payment-card details. The App receives the product identifier and purchase status needed to unlock or restore the purchase. If analytics is enabled, the App may record the product identifier, purchase outcome, and whether a purchase was restored.

Google and Apple handle purchase information according to the Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy, respectively.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by Google for advertising, consent management, Google Play purchases, and—only when enabled—analytics, and by Apple for App Store purchases. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users, our rights, or the security of the App.

6. Retention and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you clear it through the operating system or remove the App, subject to device backups.

Advertising, consent, analytics, and purchase records are retained by Google or Apple according to their respective policies and your Google Play account, Apple Account, or device settings. Clear Moon does not maintain user accounts or a server-side profile for Orbit Slide and therefore generally has no account record to delete. If you contact us about a privacy request, we will retain the correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and meet legal obligations.

To ask a privacy question or request deletion of information that you believe Clear Moon controls, email support@clearmoon.ca. We may need limited information to understand and verify the request.

7. Children

Orbit Slide is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

8. International processing and security

Google and Apple may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their privacy policies describe their international data practices and safeguards. We use established platform services and limit the information included in our custom analytics events, but no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, its service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date shown above. Material changes will be communicated in the App when appropriate.
